Piranhas Compete in Temecula!

On Sunday, May 1, the Piranha Team is heading to Temecula to compete in a Red/White meet.  This is a one day, short course meet focusing on our newer swimmers and those looking to improve to Blue times and better.  This is one of the few Red/White meets this summer.  Good luck to those competing.

The meet is being held at Chaparral High School in Temecula, 27215 Nicolas Road, Temecula, CA 92591.  Please refer to the meet information on our webpage for all the details of the meet.  We know this is a first meet for a few of you so make sure you look over the meet information, timelines, etc.  The meet will be divided by age, the younger (10 and under) swimmers in the AM session and the older swimmers in the PM session.  If you are in the morning session, please arrive at 7:45 to stretch and warm-up around 8:00.  Also, you must check in to the clerk of course to be able to swim in the meet.  Coaches will be there to assist if necessary.  Afternoon session looks like it will start approximately around 2:00pm so be there a little before 1:00pm to warm up and check in.  We will Facebook updates on the timeline as we go. NOTE: since the meet is split, the Event numbers will be skipping for the sessions, and the meet will run fastest to slowest heats.  Pay attention…

Our meet shirt for the day will be WHITE!  There are coverings along the pool (west side) so let’s make sure we secure the shade but feel free to bring a pop up.  With only 13 athletes, we should be good with the provided shade.

This will be a great experience for everyone involved, looking forward to some great swims!
