Piranhas Swim Fast, Top 10

The Piranhas had another stellar night session at the JO meet! The team is holding in the 10th spot as one of the smaller teams at the meet. Best times and big points for the team at the finals were highlighted by many great swims.

The meet started with the 200 free with the 10th place finish of Alissah (2:20.43) in the 13-14 age group and Indira and Kat securing 1st and 3rd places with times of 2:06.48 and 2:08.02 for the 15-18. In the 5-10 200 free Desiree got 8th with a best time 2:41.44.

In the 5-10 100 back, Kelli, Emma and Jackie swam to 8th (1:30.18), 10th (1:29.2) and 14th (1:34.4) places.

The 400 IM started with a bang as Faith and Shelby got 1st and 6th with great improvements of 5:09.97 and 5:29.06 for 13-14. For 15-18, Alexa was 7th with a 5:21.92, while Adam was 3rd with a 4:46.11.

5-10 50 Breast had Kelli and Desiree getting 3rd (42.60) and 8th (45.71) place points.

The meet wrapped up with the 15-18 100 Breast. In the console, Bryce went a career best of 1:13.23 getting 13th and Adam was 3rd in 1:10.44.

A great session for the team, Day 3 is another opportunity for great swims and races.
