Super Final Session

The Piranhas swim team had a strong finals session on the final day of individual competition. The night began with the 5-10 100 Breast with Kelli and Desiree placing 5th (1:34.39) and 8th (1:37.00). The 15-18 200 Breast had Alexa getting 12th (2:56.17) and Adam winning the mens event (2:24.45) and getting the Junior National time standard; and having Bryce placing 15th (2:40.35).

The evening mile finals had a fantastic race between Piranhas, Faith and Kat going 1-2 in the 1500M. Faith swam a time of 17:42.98 to win the 13-14 and Kat placed first for the 15-18 age group with a time of 17:36.99. They both broke personal records in the 800 free on their way out! Alexa ended up 4th in 15-18.

In the backstroke, 5-10 we had Kelli getting 10th (:40.95) in the 50 back. The 13-14 100 back had Shelby winning consoles with a 1:11.66 and Alissah 15th (1:16.99). For 15-18, Indira went 1:09.45 for 4th place. Adam swam a 1:02.95 getting 2nd place.

The 50 free had some great swims. 5-10 had Desiree placing 7th (:33.71) and Kelli 11th (:34.66). 13-14, Shelby finished with a :29.06 in 6th and Indira won her event with a :27.14.

The meet was an incredible success for the team with great times, cheering, support and fun!

Piranhas look to have a great relay day on Sunday.
