Great Morning For Piranhas

The Piranhas swim team had another strong morning of Preliminaries. The meet began with the 5-10 100 Breast with Kelli and Desiree placing in the top 8, 5th (1:37.79) and 8th (1:39.48). The 15-18 200 Breast had Alexa getting 12th (2:58.52) and Adam and Bryce placing with 2nd (2:31.55) and 15th (2:42.10).

In the backstroke, 5-10 we had Kelli getting 9th (:41.45) in the 50 back. The 13-14 100 back had Shelby in 10th (1:15.1) and Alissah 16th (1:17.46). For 15-18, Indira went 1:08.33 for the 3rd seed. Adam swam a 1:03.56 getting into finals 4th.

The 50 free had some great swims. 5-10 was Desiree 8th (:34.01) and Kelli 10th (:34.22). 13-14, Shelby finaled with a :29.51 in 7th and Indira is first with :27.51.

The morning miles had Alexa and Lindsay going 1500M. Alexa had the fastest time of the morning with 18:32.79. Lindsay posted a 19:58.55. Their final placing will occur after the finals tonight.

Piranhas look to have a great last night in Thousand Oaks!!
