Piranha Swim Team 2011-2012

The Piranha Swim Team will begin the 2011-2012 season today, Monday August 29.  The week will start out with a quick introduction into the skills and drills associated with the Piranha Team and Coach Adam's expertice with a "clinic" for the first part of each practice this week.  We will be covering Freestyle (M), Butterfly (T), Back (W) and Breaststroke (Th) through to Thursday, Friday will be our Team Banquet where everyone is invited to attend in lieu of our practice that day. 

Clinic Start Times

Palm Springs: Bronze/Silver at 4:00; Gold/Senior at 5:00

Shadow Hills: Bronze/Silver/Gold at 5:00

*Regular practice will finish out the practice time after the Clinic session.

The Banquet this Friday looks like a great opportunity for our members to mingle and recongnize the swimmers who stood out over the past 2010-2011 season. It will be a fun night of food and awards with Team Gifts being distributed at the Banquet.   More information will be sent to you about the Banquet specifics.

Please browse the website and the meet schedule for the 2011-2012 season.  Meets are posted through April, 2012.   The year is divided into two parts, the short course season (25 yards) from now until the JO and Eastern Championship meets in February, then the Long Course season (50M) begins until the end of summer.  It is looking like a great meet lineup and a good chance for the Piranhas to compete.  The Fontana meet is ready for signups so please make sure you check that out for our first meet of the season!
