Costume Contest and Team Night Out!

Monday, October 31^st, the Piranha Swim Team will be having a costume contest on the pool deck before practice.  Each group can wear their costume to practice to get judged by the coaches.  The results from those scores will be tabulated and the coaches will determine who had the best costume that night.  There will be a winner from both locations; Palm Springs and Shadow Hills and they will be presented with a prize the following practice.  It is open to all ages and must conform to a modest standard of decency for all costumes.  So, come as your favorite super hero or a dog, either way you will be competing for the top spot of Costume King/Queen!  We all hope you will participate with this event.  After the judging, the swimmers will then practice that night, so choose your costume wisely.

Team Night Out – California Pizza Kitchen!!  The Piranha Swim Team will be having its monthly fundraiser, TNO and it will be at both locations of the CPK’s in Palm Springs and Palm Desert.  The fundraiser is for the whole day of November 2, all you need to do is bring in the flyer as proof of your affiliation with Piranha Swim Team and a portion of your meal cost will be donated back to the team!!!  This is a great way for our team to increase our exposure to the communities and allow us to purchase needed improvements for the team.  Examples would include gear and equipment for training and needed equipment for swim meets.  The whole coaching staff encourages everyone to pass the word to friends and coworkers to eat at CPK next Wednesday, November 2.
