Stellar Swims At Sectionals
Huntington Beach - the Piranhas had another great day of swims with all best times! In the frigid environment, the Piranhas are "overcoming all obstacles to perform at their best'" says coach Adam Schmitt.
The meet began with the women's 200 freestyle where both Indira and Kat swam best swims to make it to the finals at night, 1:51.50 and 1:52.47. In the finals, they both improved to 1:51.22 (8th) for Indy and 1:51.65 (19th) for Kat.
The 400 IM had three Piranhas competing. The day began with Adam swimming a best time of 4:05.21, and in finals he went 4:06.90. Faith and Alexa swam bests of 4:32.97 and 4:42.21 in the preliminaries.
The night finished with the 800 free relay with Indira, Kat, Alexa and Faith. They finished the night with swift time of 7:40.88 and finishing 15th overall.
