Eastside Update For This Week 10-15-2012

Dear Piranha Eastside families,

Several important factors will affect our Eastside practices starting this next week, October 15th-18th.

Monday, will be our last day at Pawley pool. The Piranhas is grateful for the opportunity to work with the District Recreational District to use the Pawley pool, but scheduled maitenance will not allow us to utilize it into the winter.

We will be moving our practices to the Indio High School pool facility who has agreed to provide the Piranhas waterspace until at least January 2013. Piranhas is still working with some other facilities for water time, but Indio High School will be a great place to train. The pool has 8-lanes and is heated and will be lit at night.

I will know more about what day we can start this week--after I speak with the athletic director on Monday.

The High School is undergoing extensive renovations to its campus, so the only way to enter the High School is to do so from Hwy 111 and park in the parking lot behind the Carl's Junior. There will be a side gate that leads onto the campus.

When you enter the campus through this east side gate, the pool will be on the exact opposite side of campus (the far west side).

You will need to walk a straight line across the campus to the pool.

We are looking at practices being held from 5:30-7:30pm Monday-thurs. Minnows will be from 5:30-6pm.

I have been told that there is lighting for the campus and the pool.

I will confirm via email our exact start day.
