PIRANHA MASTERS RAISE OVER $3000 FOR ANGEL VIEW
Proud to announce that the Piranha Masters New Years Eve 100x100 swim challenge raised over $3000, all going towards the Angel View Outreach program to help local Coachella Valley kids with disabilities. More info on their programming here: https://www.angelview.org/outreach
As proud as we are of our teams swimming achievements, meet hosting abilities, and other community activities, this is by far our proudest accomplishment. Masters swimmer Steve Erickson is the man behind this outstanding event. Thank you Steve for the idea and pairing us with Angel View. KMIR Channel 6 covered the events and Angel View clients were once again present to cheer on the athletes. Last year was the first time we held this event and six swimmers participated. This year 22 swimmers took on the challenge from all over the Coachella Valley. Thank you and congrats to all swimmers that finished the 100x100's, especially our own Masters: Karla A, Lauri A, Steve E, Susie G, Andrew M, Lori T, Chris V (swam it all Butterfly!), Trinidad R (just took on swimming this past year), and Bill D (our oldest Piranha to complete the feat at 63!).
Piranha Pride at it's finest! A new tradition added to the many other Piranha traditions that together are the reason why we have almost 50 years of offering quality swimming to the Coachella Valley.
