THANK YOU PIRANHA SUPPORTERS

A special note to say thank you

Piranha Swim and Water Polo:

I want to take a second to thank some people that are important to our success. We know our staff, meet committee, and parent volutneer group are the heart and soul of Piranha hosted meets. But without the help of other sources, we don't have the same success we now have hosting meets and bringing so many people to the City of Pallm Springs.

Missy Ramos is not currently a Piranha Parent and has no obligation to do anything for the team. At one point she was an employee as the team admin, with compensation that barely covers her expenses or the value of what she does day to day let alone what she puts in over the course of a meet. Our other meet managers and many other parents have chipped in and given so much to the team as well. But without Missy, especially this last year, the team would be struggling. I owe more thanks to her personally and professionally then I will ever be able to actually say or show. She has kept this team moving and I am so greatful to have her on our team.

City of Palm Springs, Palm Springs Swim Center, and Staff. Without the facility and the access we have to it, there are no Piranha meets. Its estimated we brought the City close to $200,000 in revenue last year. Vicki Oltean, the City staff, and the Swim Center staff understand the shared benefits of working together and what the Piranhas get from the City as well as give back.

Alina DeArmas, Clem West, and Steve Quan along with Paul and the rest of our officiating crew. Alina has been working with Coach Jeff for 18 years now and in recent years has donated time well beyond what is asked of a usual Admin for our team. Clem has been our Head Ref and looks out for us by running the officaitng crew in a fair manor with both the meet and the swimmers best interest in mind. Steve has made sure our meets have touchpads even when he cant be here to run the Board. He goes above and beyond for the Piranhas, often donating use of his equiment and service. These three have the support of many great officials throughout the course of the year and we appreciate the collective help of you all at our meets and outside of our meets.

Mmgc Financial Services and Managing Partner Steven Erickson.
Steve and MMGC have given countless hours to the organization from donations to service hours on an almost daily basis that are more valuable in keeping this organization moving forward than any other part of the team.   For any acounting/tax/payroll needs go see MMGC.

@speedoUSA provides various staff, Sectional, Junior National, and National team outfitting throughout the year, offers discounts on other products to our team, and gave us meet support by helping with the awarding this past weekend.

Brudvik Inc has been giving discounted electrical assistance at meets for so long nobody can remember when or how our relationship began.www.brudvikelectric.com is the only place to go when in need of renting electical equimpent.

Shamrock Foods has been taking care off our snack bar since introduced to us by Sylvie and Francois seven or 8 years ago. Today it is their help that makes us one of the few teams that makes running a snack bar a major profit while offering quality food.

Jenson's GroceryStarbucks, @claro pools and CEO Stephen LittleLas Casuelas Original, nestle/arrowhead water, Chef Luis Ruiz, the Wickham Family, and Marios Italian Kitchen in Palm Springs all have given us large amounts of food and drinks and manpower that help us take care of the visiting coaches and officials hospitality as well as our snack bar. Chef Luis has worked several meets now without a swimmer on the team, the Wickhams donated an entire meal at WAG, and this past weekend Marios donations meant coaches and officials lunch both days were outstanding and 100% donated. Claro pools and Steve Little have donated the entire amount of water and Gatorade needed for Coaches hospitality and then some the past two meets. Thank You!

The Piranhas owe so much to all of you as well as to all of our past members and former meet managers and the work they did to get us where we are. Without any of you, we couldn't continue the traditon of offering great meets and then improve from there. Thank You!! Thank You!! Thank You!!
