Happy After Thanksgiving Weekend Everyone!

I hope your weekend was full of friends, food, family and football! Probably a bit of napping in there as well. If you are traveling back please be safe, be careful and hopefully it is without delay or issue. 

This is a really, really amazing part of the year. We have lots of Rays events coming up. A very busy, yet incredible, December is ahead of us. Let's dive in. 

  1. Snowflake Invite is this weekend. If you are competing in that meet there will be a bunch more information coming out this week. Please be sure to keep an eye on your inbox. 
    • As such, we will not be holding practices on Friday or Saturday of this week. IF you are competing at the Capital Classic meet next week (and NOT competing in Snowflake), look for an email from me later this week with more information. 
    • Monday 12/8 will be an OFF day for the Rays. CSD Mini Rays (and Cap Classic/Winter Juniors athletes) will have practice.
    • Normal schedule will resume on Tuesday 12/9.
  2. Cap Classic/Winter Juniors is coming up next week. We have many, many athletes competing in these meets!
    • Please keep an eye out for more information, forms and updates in the coming days. 
  3. Mini Rays Clinic that was scheduled for 12/13 has been moved to Thursday 12/18 at RHAC 5:30-7:00pm. More information will be coming about that (and an event sign up on the website) but please mark your calendars now. 
  4. YMCA of Upper Palmetto Elf Run is on 12/13! If you are interested in signing up please look at the event on our home page for more details!
  5. Winter Training. After Saturday 12/20 the Rays will move into their Winter Training Schedule. This will be a different format/schedule than we operate during the rest of the short course season. The staff and I are finalizing details, we will have that to you ASAP. 

Let's get fired up for a great December and launch into a New Year in 2026! Hard to believe it is the 12th month of the year already, just like our races...let's finish strong!
