March Swimmers of the Month
 

Senior/National Group Pre-Senior Group

Gold Group

Senior/National group swimmer of the month is Elijah Bohon. Elijah did a great job at the Senior Sectional meet, posting many new best times and qualifying for finals in the 200 Back.  In addition to his performance at Senior Sectionals, Elijah continues to be a leader on the SMRT team at practice.  Always showing a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard.  Keep up the good work Elijah! Pre-Senior group swimmer of the month is Emma Gourdie.  At Emma's season-ending meet, Age Group Sectionals, Emma domonstrated the traits of a true athlete in learning to cope with her disappointments of her races in the first couple of days and move on to have a fabulous final day.  Mental toughness is essential for success in swimming and Emma showed she's got it! Gold Swimmer of the month is Joe Riddell.  Joe has really made a lot of progress over the past month.  Joe had a great Palmetto Championship Meet where he had best times in all of his events.  He got another Age group Sectional Cut and another team record in the 100 Breaststroke.  Congratulations Joe.  Keep up the good work over the summer.

Swimmer of the month for Silver is Malia Borg.  Malia has been really stepping up her effort at practice and it is showing in the meets.  Malia loves a challenge and always has her bright smiling face at practice. Bronze group swimmer of the month is Gavin Milligan.  Gavin has been doing really well with listening and always pushes himself in practice...there's never any doubt that Gavin gives 100%!  Gavin's hard work has paid off; he was recently promoted to the Silver group.  Congratulations Gavin! David Wang is the swimmer of the month for the Mini Marlins this month.  David has taken to the new practices with great enthusiasm and has developed an excellent underwater push off.  He comes ready to swim and is always smiling when he is in the water, making him a pleasure to instruct. Congratulations David!
