SCST is looking for persons to become USA Swimming Officials

Moms and dads often make great officials

Our Sun Coast Swim Team continues to improve and grow.  One of the ways we can better serve our swimmers is to have sanctioned USA Swim meets at our own pool.  This would not only allow those times to be official but would also provide our team and community the ability to host these sanction meets and attract more teams to our program and help generate meet proceeds to further our team.

In order to do this our team must have persons willing to become USA Swimming Officials.  There are several benefits to becoming an official.  Many of our meets we travel to need officials and you can get a tax deduction for your travel expenses to these meets.  In addition, you often receive food, drink and other benefits when you officiate a meet.
