2020 TBAC Winter Invitational Sunday Update with Stats

Today was the final day for the Sun Coast swimmers at the 2020 TBAC Winter Invitational at the famed Northshore Aquatics Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Our Captain Holme loves breaking down the stats for meets.  SO here goes- Sun Coast swimmers swam in 107 different events.  We had 14 swimmers swim an event for the first time. 39 swims resulted in personal bests (PBs), that’s 41.9%!!! That is outstanding especially considering the weather this weekend and the intense training you all have been doing. Six Sun Coast swimmers scored points- six year old Lucas Spann earned the most points 31, Hannah Laycock (17) earned 20.5, Grace Burkholder (14) earned 20, Marshall “Chuck” Wilson (16) earned 16, Noah Christian (18) earned 10, and Drew Jenkins (14) earn 3.

New Sun Coast Records

For over 25 years Sun Coast Swim Team has maintained record swims.  This weekend’s TBAC swim meet had SIX new Suncoast Swim Team records set:

• Grace Burkholder 13-14 100Y Back (1:07.08)
• Hannah Laycock 15 & over 50Y Free (26.53), 100Y Free (56.47), and 200Y Back (2:21.66)
• Drew Jenkins 13-14 100Y Breast (1:07.41) and 200Y IM (2:09.15)
