WE ARE BACK IN THE WATER!!!

Sun Coast Swim Team is excited to announce that practices resume Friday, May 15, 2020.  We want to thank the Citrus County Board of Commission for voting unanimously to reopen the Bicentennial Pool. We also want to thank Citrus County Parks and Recreation, Ms. Robin, and the entire Bicentennial Pool staff for all their work to make this happen. Please take time to carefully read through this email.

Our Practice schedule for Friday, May 15, 2020, ONLY is:

Sharks - 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Dolphins I &II - 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Otter -   5:00pm – 6:00pm

Our Practice schedule for Saturday May 16, 2020, ONLY is:

Sharks & Dolphins II - 7:00am – 9:00am

Our Practice schedule beginning Monday, May 18, 2020 is: (IMPORTANT SEE BELOW*)

Mornings* – Monday thru Friday

Sharks -                7:00am – 9:00am

Dolphins I &II -   7:30am – 9:00am

Otter -   8:00am – 9:00am (Mon, Wed & Fri)

Afternoon* – Monday thru Thursday

Sharks -                6:00pm – 8:00pm swim

Dolphins II -        6:30pm – 8:00pm swim

Dolphins I -         6:30pm – 8:00pm swim

Otter -   6:00pm – 7:00pm (Mon, Wed & TH)

*Swimmer wishing to attend more than one practice a day requires approval from Coach Gatton. Typically, this is reserved for advanced swimmers and/or high school swimmers.

We will be holding a Zoom team meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 7:00 pm to go over our “Return to Practice Plan” and some of the social distancing requirements we will be mandating.  Please make every effort to attend.

LOCKER ROOMS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE!!

(This small unisex bathroom will be only limited available for restroom use only.)

ALSO

  • ANYONE feeling ill in any way will be sent home.
  • ANYONE Athletes/coaches who begin to cough/sneeze for any reason must move away from others until coughing/ sneezing dissipates.
  • ALL Athletes MUST come dressed to swim, NO changing of clothes at the pool facility.
  • EVERYONE MUST Bring their own full water bottle (NO SHARING) and avoid touching any tap water or fountain handles.

On Thursday we will share more details.  We are excited to be back in the water!
