Please Wear Your Mask, COVID numbers are up
Please Wear Your Mask, COVID numbers are up
Hello Team!
In the last number of weeks, COVID-19 numbers are drastically going up, and more and more people are being required to quarantine. This quarantining is impacting our students athletically and academically. Recently some youth athletics in our county have had to suspend activities due to COVID.
Local health professionals are passionately imploring our team and others to encourage wearing masks while on deck during practice when we are not socially distancing, in an effort to help mitigate the increasing exposures, especially during the growing flu season.
We are asking when at practice that if you are not able to social distance please wear a mask/face-covering. Exceptions are while in water or during brief stretching. Please respect that coaches will continue to social distance during practices and may not have masks on so they can best communicate with the swimmers during workouts.
It is essential over the next several weeks that we practice the three “W”s… Wear a mask, Wash your hands, and watch your distance. This will help continue that our program in successful for our swimmers and that we are healthy for our families and communities.
Thank you,
Sun Coast Swim Team
