Sun Coast Swim Team Aims for Glory at 2023 FHSAA District 2A7 Swimming Championships

This Saturday, the 21st of October, 2023, the Sun Coast Swim Team is gearing up for an exhilarating showdown at the 2023 FHSAA District 2A7 Swimming Championships. This highly anticipated event, proudly hosted by Citrus High School at the Long Center in Clearwater, promises a thrilling display of talent and teamwork. The team comprises 17 exceptional swimmers, each representing different high schools, coming together with a shared goal in mind.

From Citrus High School, we have Connor Clendenney and Matt Dobsen, two exceptional athletes who will undoubtedly make their school proud. Gabe Fogarty from Central High School brings his prowess to the team, while Madison Brault from Lecanto High School adds her exceptional talent to the mix.

Hailing from Nature Coast Technical High, we have Danny Pontrelli II, ready to showcase his skills. Representing Crystal River High School, we have an impressive contingent, including Brooke Bennett, Ella Billups, Morgan Gibson, Cruz Helmstetter, Josiah Oleary-Wyatt, Tyler Penn, Jerry Randall, Justin Rieck, Madison Rose, Becca Stewart, Reina Touchton, and Colton Wilson.

As these dedicated athletes dive into the Long Center's waters, they carry the hopes and dreams of their respective schools and communities.
