Sun Coast Swim Team Senior Commits to St. Thomas University's Swim Team

Sun Coast Swim Team (SCST) proudly congratulates senior Daniel “Danny” Pontrelli II on his verbal commitment to continue his athletic career by swimming for the St. Thomas University (STU) Bobcats Men’s swim team in Miami Gardens, Florida. Pontrelli is a senior at Nature Coast Tech High School in Brooksville. This announcement comes on the heels of the STU Bobcats Men’s swim team securing their first Swimming National Championship at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Swimming & Diving Championship in Columbus, Georgia, earlier this month.

Pontrelli's decision to commit to STU reflects his excitement to join a highly competitive team that is nationally ranked and poised for further success in future NAIA Championships. With determination and talent, Pontrelli aims to contribute significantly to the team's pursuit of future championships.

In expressing his commitment to STU, Pontrelli emphasized that he sees this opportunity as the best path for personal growth and athletic achievement. He is eager to challenge himself alongside his new teammates and push the boundaries of his abilities in the collegiate swimming arena.
