SCS Summer Age Group Championships

This summer, Trident Swim Club was represented by AJ Acuna, Esther Chang, Gwendolyn Cheng, Mark Du, Abby He, Tia He, Angela Huang, Evelett Lambarena, Alina Li, Jennifer Liang, Miranda Liu, Zoe Liu, David Laun, Karen Prawira, Catherine Tan, Kaven Tantiga, Kyle Tsuei, Albert Wang, Derek Wen, Hellen Xia, Sydney Yang, Anthony Zhang and Leo Zhang at the annual Southern California Summer Age Group Championships which was held at the Mount San Antonio College Aquatic Center this year.  Trident was well represented in this meet, swimming among the fastest Southern California Swim Teams.  We were competitive and achieved numerous best times.

Western Zones Summer Senior Championships

Our season was caped with Tridents travelling to Clovis, Ca for the Western Zones Summer Senior Championships.  AJ Acuna, Esther Chang, Ethan Chen, Gwendolyn Cheng, Michael Lee, Brendan Lee-Nguyen, Jennifer Liang, Karen Prawira, Kyle Tsuei, Sydney Yang, Anthony Zhang and Leo Zhang swam against State All-Star Teams and USA Swimming Teams from across the western United States (Washington State, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Montana, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.  Trident swimmers achieved new best times and new Futures Championships time standards.  Congratulations to Anthony Zhang who finished 3rd in the 400 FR.
