June Age Group Recap

This past weekend 19 Tridents traveled to the Splash Center in La Mirada to compete in the annual June Age Group Championships.

Alec Hsing qualified for the USA Swimming Junior Nationals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.  Alec also set a NEW Southern California Swimming Record in the 13-14 200 Meter Breaststroke.  The previuos record has existed for 17 years.

Alec also went on to win gold in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and 400 IM.

Alec led the Tridents to a 14th place finish in the combined, women's and men's championship.  There were over 50 Teams at the La Mirada site.

Theresa Lo  3rd 800 free, 6th 400 free, 6th 100 back, 2nd 400 IM, 7th 200 fly, 3rd 1500 free

Edgar Chin 3rd 200 breaststroke

Mei Ling Chun 6th 100 Breaststroke, 5th 200 breaststroke
