TG Swimmers Selected to Open Water Zone Team

South Carolina Swimming will be sending a team to the Open Water Zones meet in Lucas, Kentucky on May 31- June 2. This is the second year our LSC has competed at this event. Congrats to the following Terrapins who were selected to represent our state at this ESSZ Zone Championship meet:

Additionally, Coach Carlton will be joining the South Carolina delegation as a zone team coach. To be selected for this meet, swimmers’ performances at the SC Open Water Champs last June were considered along with swims in the distance events during the short course season. 

The 2023 team included Terrapins Emily Schneider, Abby Schneider, Owen Leifheit, and Quinn Beason. It is exciting to see repeat qualifiers as well the increased list of TG Athletes representing for the 2024 season. Good luck swimmers!
