TG USA Swimming Officiating Recruitment Letter for New Parents

Attention Parents,

As we enter the 25/26 Season, I would like to encourage our members who may be interested in becoming an Official to participate in a training seminar for new "stroke and turn" judges. If you have officiated in SAIL or just would like to be a part of the meet, TG prides itself on having the best officiating crew in South Carolina. Last year we had almost 30 officials, and I would love to add more to the roster. Our organization's budget relies on swim meets for close to half of our revenue to keep training dues and travel costs low, we depend on volunteers and officials to be able to host these events.

Dorian Lazea is our Officials Chair for the TG Meet Operations Committee. He has been a TG official for over a decade and enjoys training new officials. If you are interested in becoming an official, please contact him at [email protected]. We are planning to have a clinic this month, we will have that information published shortly, so please reach out to Dorian if you have intrest. We look forward to continuing our strong tradition of officiating, and hosting meets at Team Greenville.
