2024 TISCA High School State Championship Swim Meet

 

Tennessee High School TISCA state swimmers are getting faster every year which raises the level of competition to new all time heights. High School & Club training together are responsible for bringing the sport in Tennessee to these incredible new speeds. Year around training with competitive swim meets is the only way for Tennessee swimmers to compete at this level of competition. 

 

Great Challenges Demand Greater Preparation!

 

Congratulations to all TISCA State High School Red Piranha Swimmers! Red Piranha Swimmers competing swam with (DB) Dobyns-Bennett High School, (THS) Tennessee High School, & (KAST) Kingsport Area Swim Team. 

 

Several Red Piranha Swimmers made it to finals scoring points for their high school team and brought home medals deserving BIG congrats! Several gave it a good fight swimming their best ever and also deserve a big round of applause!

Four Outstanding Individual Performances:

 

DB Sophomore, Evie Dellinger,

7th place, 200 Yard Individual Medley,

DB Lady Indians School Record Time of 2:08.73.

 

DB Senior, Will Mayhew,

15th place, 200 Yard Individual Medley,

DB Indians School Record Time of 1:56.09.

19th place, 100 Yard Breaststroke,

DB Indians School Record Time of 58.62.

 

KAST Senior, Ian Hall, 15th Place, 

50 Yard Freestyle, KAST Record Time of 21.91.

 

Three Outstanding Relay Performances:

 

DB Men’s 400 Free Relay finished 10th:

Noah Austin, Nolan Hill, Nick Robinson, & William Mayhew

 

DB Lady Indians 200 Free Relay finished 12th:

Avery Brown, Macy Davis, Maria Moody-Moskala, & Gabby Simpson

 

DB Lady Indians 400 Free Relay finished 12th:

Piper Osterhus, Lylah Combs, Macy Davis, & Evie Dellinger

 

DB Men placed 18th overall with a score of 30 points.

DB Lady Indians placed 16th overall with a score of 41 points.

DB Indians combined Girls & Boys placed 12th overall as a team with a score 71 points. 

 

DB’s high school swim team had 17 of the 19 high school state team swimmers training throughout the year as RPS club members. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport paid off by placing Dobyns-Bennett's Swim Team in the top 12th overall in the state out of 123 teams!
