Parker Camp Selected to National Youth Team

Nashville Aquatic Club’s own Parker Camp has been added to the 2009-2010 National Youth Team roster for his performance in the 100 backstroke at the 2009 Long Course Junior National meet.

In order to be placed on the National Youth Team Roster a swimmer must be under the age of 18 and have one of the 6th fastest times in the country in their respective event(s). In his case Parker had the 6th fastest time in the 100 M back at 56.97. Camp will compete for Team USA in one of the meets in the Mare Nostrum Meet Series being held in Barcelona, Spain on June 9 & 10 of this year.

Much hard work and dedication goes in to making any National Team and NAC would like to extend congratulations to Parker on his success over the past season. Like many NAC alumni, this is one of the first stepping stones to a successful swimming career.

NAC will be sure to follow Parker throughout the upcoming Long Course season leading up to the meet in Spain. Keep track at swimnac.com.

CONGRATULATIONS PARKER!
