NAC Men Close Season With Big Win at Juniors!
The foursome of Parker Camp, Jarvis Werkhaven, Dakota Hodgson, and Paschall Davis swam to victory on the final night of the meet in the 400 Medley Relay. The meet, hosted in Federal Way, WA, is essentially the national championships for 18 & under swimmers. Twelve swimmers from NAC competed in the meet which was held August 10-14.
Dakota Hodgson and Parker Camp also added top eight finishes in a couple of individual events. Parker was fourth in the 100 back (57.28) and was eight in the 400 free (3:58.02). Dakota finished eighth in the 200 fly (2:01.85) and was ninth in the 100 fly (54.08).
Jack Murfee swam in the consolation final of the men’s 100 back (58.12) which was good enough for 12th place and Eleanor Phillips finished 15th in the women’s 200 butterfly with a time of 2:16.21. Deidre Jones finished 16th in the women’s 50 free with a time of 26.66 and competed in four other events as well (100 free, 400 free, 200 free, and 100 back). The NAC men’s 400 free relay (Hodgson, Camp, Murfee, and Davis) was thirteenth place with a time of 3:30.78.
Other swimmers representing NAC in the meet were Sam Sloan (200 fly, 200 back, 200 IM, 400 IM) Brian Bolton (100 back, 200 back, 200 free) Maclin Davis (100 fly, 100 back, 50 free) Megan Goss (100 breast, 200 breast, 400 free, 400 IM, 800 free) and Anna Grainger (100 back, 200 back)
