NAC Age Groupers Top the National IMX Rankings
Annie Kyriakidis and Jackson Defore top USA Swimming’s 2009 Long Course IMX rankings. IMX is a point’s based system that ranks swimmers all over the Nation based on times achieved over the course of a season. Swimmers must compete in all 4 competitive strokes and an IM event to begin earning points. Swimmers are then ranked by their single age or age group.

NAC placed 5 swimmers in the National Top 50.

These rankings are just one more reason NAC is a Gold Medal Club as well as one of the top teams in the nation. There is a vast array of talent throughout the program that goes beyond just one swimmer swimming well in few events. There are many swimmers who can be highly competitive in all 4 strokes.
Rankings have already begun for the 2009-2010 Short Course season. In order to be eligible for the IMX Challenge rankings a swimmer must compete in all four competitive strokes and an IM event at least once over the course of the season. As long as a swimmer meets the criteria he or she will be ranked, even into the thousandths!
