NAC and the Special Olympics of Tennessee Partnership!

The Special Olympics of Tennessee held its largest function of the year last weekend. The Summer Games were held starting Friday, May 15 through Saturday, May 16. Rich Sanderson attended the Opening Ceremonies on Friday night and was privileged to present a check to Special Olympics on behalf of NAC. This was a portion of the pledges the team was so successful in collecting for the 2008 NAC Games. Special Olympics recognized NAC’s continued support year after year and presented NAC with a certificate of appreciation.

NAC Swimmers also volunteered for the swimming event held at Centennial on Saturday. Over 125 special athletes participated in the swimming competition. NAC volunteers served as Clerk of Course. This was not an easy task considering the overwhelming excitement throughout the day. It was an rewarding day for our volunteers Brian Bolton, Parker Camp, the Davis brothers, Maddie Garrett, Megan Goss, Katrina Keirns, Annie Killian, Kyra Logan, Chase Lovelace, Allison Maher and Grace Anne Sanderson. We received numerous compliments and thanks from coaches and parents of the athletes.

Thanks for all the help from the volunteers at the Summer Games and the donors who gave generously at the NAC Games.
