Bryan Welter Wins Age Group Coach Of The Year!
23 Swimmers Named to the 2008-2009
SES Age Group All-Star Team!
| Southeastern Swimming held its Spring Meeting this past weekend in Pensacola, Florida where NAC Head Age Group Coach, Bryan Welter, was given the Cory Horton Age Group Coach of the Year award. This award is voted on by the coaches of Southeastern Swimming each spring. Coach Welter guided the 10 and under and 11-12 year old swimmers to a fantastic season at Districts and Southeasterns this past February. NAC took home top honors in the 11-12 girl’s age group high point and Chatham Dobbs, Sophie Pilkinton, and Annie Kyriakides all picked up individual high point awards. In addition, the following 23 swimmers were named to the 2008-2009 SES Age Group All-Star Team: |

In addition to Coach Welter’s achievement John Morse is currently the Southeastern Swimming Senior Coach of the Year, and Curtis Lovelace is the current Southeastern Swimming Athlete of the year. This was Coach Morse fifth time to win the award and there have been five age group coaches from NAC to win the award since 1990. Congratulation to NAC’s athletes and coaching staff on a tremendous 2008-09 season! |
