Southeastern Qualifier Numbers Go Up at Excel Stars & Stripes Meet!
June 4-6 NAC attended the Excel Stars and Stripes Meet. Most Senior swimmers swam on Saturday while the Age Groupers swam Saturday & Sunday. Many new Southeastern cuts were made as the NAC Southeastern roster begins to grow.
On Saturday Taylor Charles had great performances in all events dropping time in every swim. Event winners for the Seniors include Sophie Pilkinton, Sam Sloan, Michele Chintanaphol, Madison Wentzler, Alex Goss, Meghan Goss, Jarvis Werkhaven, William Varley, & Elizabeth Stinson. Later that day the 11-12 Boys 200 Free Relay composed of Jackson Defore, Casey Charles, Elijah Patrick & Will McCall captured 1st place over Excel in a time of 2:04.34. The 8 & Under Girls 200 Free Relay of Amaya Henry, Mikayla Oleksyk, Savi Alwis, & Emily Schiedemeyer touched out rival Excel by a second claiming 1st.
On Sunday the Age groupers ruled the pool by claiming many new Southerastern cuts. The following swimmers earned new Southeastern cuts in their respective Age Groups:
