Several Southeastern Swimming / Team Records Fall
During a Very Close Summer Sizzler Team Race

In one of the closest Summer Sizzler meets in recent history the Lakeside Seahawks edged out the Nashville Aquatic Club 4219.50-4119.50. It was a back and forth down to the wire event that led everyone to some incredible swimming. Highlighting that Maclin Davis broke the Southeastern Swimming 15-16 Boys 100 Butterfly Record held by CMSA’s T.J. Leon’s on his way to qualifying for the Long Course Summer National Championship Meet.

The 11-12 Girls Medley Relay team of Erika Giuse, Xiuya Yao, Annie Kyriakidis & Tatum Wade broke the Southeastern Swimming record held by their teammates from last year (Katie Kemp, Emma Blackwood, Aspen Dimmick, Sophie Pilkinton) by .01 going 2:11.23.

Hannah Runyon-Hass made her first Long Course Junior National Championship Qualifying Time in the 200 IM 2:21.88.

Nashville Aquatic Club had new travel team qualifiers in Maddie Hoff (100 Breast 1:15.51, 200 Breast 2:44.42), Elizabeth Stinson (400 Free 4:27.78) & Nathan Stinson (1500 Free 16:33.43).

Nashville Aquatic Club had over 500 best times (over 50% as a team) and collected 102 top 3 finishes (38 Gold, 36 Silver, 28 Bronze) almost 20 more top three swims than the next ranked team.
