Nashville's Erika Giuse Named TYR Age Group Swimmer of the Month -- February 7, 2011
| PHOENIX, Arizona, February 7. NASHVILLE Aquatic Club's Erika Giuse, 12, has been named the TYR Age Group Swimmer of the Month in the February issue of Swimming World Magazine. Giuse, a student at the Martin Luther King Jr. Academic Magnet School in Nasvhille, has been moving up the charts in the 11-12 age division, including a strong meet in Knoxville this last summer at the Southeastern Swimming LSC Championships. In the 2010-11 USA Swimming National Age Group Top 10 Times list (as of early January), she ranks fifth in the 12-year-old girls 100-yard back with a 58.78, as well seventh in the 50 back (27.93). |
