NAC Athletes Contribute to SES Success!

Eight Nashville Aquatic Club athletes traveled with Southeastern Swimming to the 2011 Southern Zone Long Course Championships in Cary, NC.  Paige Colaberdino, Chatham Dobbs, Carrie Johnson, Annie Kyriakidis, Seth Kyriakidis, Matt McPherson, Sophie Pilkinton, and Tatum Wade represented not only NAC, but Southeastern Swimming with incredible pride as SES took home the team title!

Several athletes picked up cuts at the meet, as Carrie Johnson picked up her first Summer Junior National cut in the 100 butterfly, and Tatum Wade picked up her first Summer Senior National cut in the 200 breaststroke.

Event winners from NAC included:  Annie Kyriakidis (11-12 50BR, 100FLY, 50BK, 100BR, 200IM, 50FLY), Tatum Wade (13-14 200BR, 100BR), Carrie Johnson (13-14 100FLY), Sophie Pilkinton (13-14 200IM).

Top-8 finishers from NAC included:  Seth Kyriakidis (11-12 100FLY, 200IM, 50FLY), Sophie Pilkinton (13-14 100FLY, 100FR, 400IM), Chatham Dobbs (15-18 200BK, 100BK), Matt McPherson (15-18 400IM), Tatum Wade (13-14 200IM).
