Cornucopia of Best Times at BSL Cranberry Classic!

Over 100 swimmers travelled to Birmingham last weekend to compete in the Cranberry Classic.

Top swims and new records were swum across all age groups.  Isabel Oldham was a top finisher in 6 events, just missing a 9-10 Southeastern cut as an 8 year old.  Alex Robinson swam to a new Southeastern swimming record in the 11-12 1000 Free with a time of 10:18.14, breaking his own record.

Matt McPherson came home with new travel cuts in the 400 IM, and Taylor Charles picked up a short course yards Junior National cut in the 400IM, clocking a time of 3:59.61.

All athletes who did not compete at Birmingham will be competing at the Saturday Races this weekend!  This meet was a great chance to help the coaching staff and athletes refocus on the work necessary in order to compete well in December and beyond – stay focused and swim fast!
