NAC Senior Swimmers Leave Competition Feeling Rocky at State Championships

The Tennessee State High School Swimming Championships, hosted by NAC, was held at the Centennial Sportsplex on February 10th and 11th.  Nashville Aquatic Club swimmers represented their high school teams with pride and saw some incredible swims.

MBA Senior Maclin Davis broke the National High School Record in the men's 100-yard butterfly, clocking a time of 46.64.  More information about his swim can be found at SwimmersCircle, SwimmingWorld, and the Tennessean.

Other first place finishers from NAC included Adam Cornett (50FR), Maclin Davis (100Fly, 100FR), Elizabeth Stinson (500FR), and Chatham Dobbs (100BK).

The MBA men's 200 medley relay (Chatham Dobbs, Andrew Dobbs, Maclin Davis, Adam Cornett), comprised of all NAC swimmers took first place.  The MBA men's 200 freestyle relay (Andrew Dobbs, Nathan Stinson, Tate Ramsden, Adam Cornett), also comprised of all NAC swimmers, took first place.  The MBA men's 400 freestyle relay (Chatham Dobbs, Tate Ramsden, Nathan Stinson, Maclin Davis), also comprised of all NAC swimmers, took first place.  

Top-8 finishers from NAC included Morgan Flynn (200FR, 500FR), Elizabeth Stinson (200FR), Bridget Killian (200FR, 100FR), Katelyn McEvoy (200FR, 500FR), Tate Ramsden (200FR), Anna Grainger (200IM, 100BK), Michelle Chintanaphol (200IM, 100BK), Sophie Pilkinton (200IM, 50FR), Maddie Hoff (200IM, 100FR), Chatham Dobbs (200IM), Taylor Charles (200IM), Matt McPherson (200IM, 500FR), Alex Goss (200IM, 100BR), Riley Frost (50FR, 100FR), Christina Clayton (50FR), Philip Fossee (50FR, 100FR), Carrie Johnson (100FLY, 100FR), Reece Boyd (100FLY), Adam Cornett (100FR), Andrew Dobbs (100FR, 100BR), Nathan Stinson (200FR, 500FR), Elena Escalas (100BR), Allison Maher (100BR).
