NAC Swimmers Post Hot Times in Atlanta

Nashville Aquatic Club sent 137 athletes to Atlanta, Georgia this past weekend to compete at the Georgia Tech Natatorium. Swimmers raced against host, Swim Atlanta's best, as well as a few from surrounding teams in Atlanta.

The age group swimmers notched top times across the board. Top performances by Kallie Chelsvig and Garland Pierce started the meet on the right foot by placing in the top 8 in all 8 events over the weekend. Joanna Jones qualified for her first ever Short course Southeastern Championship time coming in at 1:34.35.

Congratulations to all of the athletes over the weekend, and a special thank you to the parent volunteers who helped with the meet.

NAC swimmers return to the pool this week with focus on the upcoming Music City Invite. Athletes will have one more opportunity to qualify this weekend at the first Race Day meet of the 2012-13 season!
