NAC Awarded 12th Consecutive USA Swimming Gold Medal Award

USA Swimming released the 2013 Club Excellence results, and NAC once again captured the Gold Medal distinction - USA Swimming's highest honor.  NAC outdistanced it's closest Southeastern Swimming competitor by almost 20,000 points, and was once again the only Southeastern Swimming club named a Gold Medal team.

NAC has been awarded the Gold Medal distinction in every year of the program's existence.  The program began in 2002, making it 12 Gold Medal awards in a row for NAC!  This year's competition saw NAC finish in 12th place nationally - out of all USA Swimming clubs - and represents a six spot increase from an 18th place finish in 2012.

From USA Swimming, " The program recognizes USA Swimming clubs for their commitment to excellence in performance. In addition to recognizing high performing teams, the program provides grant funding for resources that enable clubs to expand and/or enhance the services they already provide to athletes. A total of $360,000 in grant dollars will be distributed to the 100 Gold and Silver-level clubs."
