Welcome to Wolverine Aquatics Club (WAC). We hope the following information answers many of the questions you may have regarding joining our USA Swimming team. Please review and let us know if you have any questions or we can assist you in any way!
STEP 1: Try Out / Attend an Evaluation
Please check out website banner for the latest information on TryOuts/Evaluations. Our coaching staff needs to evaluate all New and Returning (you skipped a season or more) athletes to place them properly. You might need to complete a short contact registration form for the Evaluation so that we have proper names and contact information. Coaching Staff will not accept payments at this time.
STEP 2: Get Registered on TeamUnify (After Evaluation & Placement)
The coaching staff will have your email address and notify you on when and where to register on the WAC TeamUnify site. The coach will also inform you which Swim Roster your athlete(s) will be assigned to. All members of Wolverine Aquatics Club (WAC) are required to have a TeamUnify (TU) Account with a Valid Credit Card (CC) on file. At the conclusion of the registration process and upon team admin approval (2 to 3 days), you will be granted access to your own private account for the team. Once you are approved, you will also begin to receive our team emails. Please be sure to include the email addresses that you want to receive our emails.

STEP 3: Get Registered on Sierra Community Education
The athletes granted access to the Sierra swim Rosters will need to register and pay for the community education course online at Sierra Community Education web site.
- Note: The Sierra Community Education web site will be available during the registration periods (roughly two weeks before and a week after the Start of the Quarter (Sept,Dec, Mar,Jun). If you are registering after the 1st Month of the Quarter begins the coaching staff will inform you of the Pro-Rated CLASS CODES to use for your situation. You MUST use the assigned CLASS CODE
- DO NOT USE PROMO CODE - It will not work. USE CLASS CODE.

You may pay with cash, check, or MasterCard/VISA. Please make all checks payable to Sierra College. If you are joining mid-session, the fee will be pro-rated. We will also need a completed/signed waiver for each swimmer. The waiver is available on our website and at the pool.
Parking Permits at Sierra College have been reinstated (3/1/2023):
Parking permits are available for each 3-month session at the pool. They are $30.00/session or $10.00/month payable to Sierra College. Bring payment to the coaching staff and they will give you a parking pass that is to be placed on the dashboard of your vehicle when parked at Sierra College. This fee cannot be combined with the registration fee. You are not required to purchase a permit, but may want to if you are planning on staying for practices.
STEP 4: Become a Member of USA SWIMMING
As of 9/1/2022 the USA Swimming Registration process changed. Please view our guide to help you navigate through the process. Our WAC TU Web Page https://www.teamunify.com/team/snwac/page/new-families/usa-swimming-registration will provide some assistance but WAC does not support or have the ability to troubleshoot or fix USA SWIM Registrations. ALL SWIMMERS MUST HAVE A VALID USA REGISTRATION.
NOTE: You must have a valid USA Swim Registration in order to participate in practices and compete at competitions. Transfers from other swim teams must initiate the USA Transfer or unattached procedure.
STEP 5: READ OUR TEAM HANDBOOK
All new members are required to read our Team Handbook.
