Summer Swellabration: THIS FRIDAY!

Fundraising BOD Member
Hello Steel Families!
This Friday, June 28th is our Annual Summer Swellabration Swim-A-Thon! This is our ONLY fundraiser for the long course season, so we are graciously asking that all swimmers participate.
We are asking each swimmer to raise $40, which can be turned in upon arrival at Settler's Cabin on Friday morning. A table will be set up near the entrance to sign in and collect donations (please place all money and checks in a sealed envelope marked with your swimmers' name).
Tax Deductible donations can also be sent via Venmo to @steelcityaquatics (If you need a phone number for securtiy purposes, use 6317).

Custom Bag tags will be awarded to all swimmers who swim 50+ laps. Also, every swimmer who raises a minimum of $25 will receive a Commemorative 2024 Summer Swellabration T-shirt on site. (Check out the retro Punch Buggy design).

🎉 FUN DETAILS: Just like last year, the Summer Swellabration will be scheduled and orchestrated in the form of a party. Swimmers will complete the lap portion of the event from 7-9am. Upon conclusion of lap swimming, the celebratory festivities will kick off with the waves being turned on, the dive well opening and music blasting! The swimmers will have full, private access to the Settlers Cabin Wave Pool to enjoy with their teammates and coaches. We have arranged for food trucks to be on site, beginning at 7am. These vendors include: Urban Trail Coffee (full menu of coffee, teas and breakfast sandwiches and pastries), Pittsburgh Crepes (breakfast offerings) and Beccos Hot Dogs (New York Hot Dog Cart with all the toppings and fixings you would find in the Big Apple).
♥️ TYR will be on site during the Summer Swellabration with gear, suits, apparel, etc. Wondering about practice and tech suit sizing, as well as other clothing options? This is a great opportunity to be professionally measured and/or try apparel on for size and fit!

If you are interested in helping us count laps from during your swimmer's practice time, please reach out to Allison ([email protected]) or Leslie ([email protected]). As the saying goes, many hands make light work, so we welcome any and all willing to help!!!!
