MCAT Coaches Recognized at Pacific Swimming Annual Awards
Coach Johanna Brown was recognized for coaching the Pacific Swimming All Star Team (11-12 boys) in 2006 and the Pacific Swimming Western Zone Team (9-10 boys) in 2006. She coached the 9-10 boys to a Pacifc and National All Star relay record in the 200 free relay, breaking the record set by MCAT swimmer Adam Fahmy's team in 2005 which was coached by Dia Rianda.
Coach Dia Rianda was recognized for coaching the Pacific Swimming 17-18 girls and boys team at Western Zones in 2006. Dia coached the 17-18 girls to National All Star Relay Records in the 400 Free Relay and the 200 Free Relay and coached the boys team to a National All-Star Relay Record in the 400 Free Relay.
Coach Johanna and Coach Dia were honored January 6,2007 for these accomplishments at the Pacific Swimming Awards Banquet held in Napa.
