Hero honored by the American Red Cross sponsored by MCAT/Swim America

Check out the Home page of the American Red Cross in Monterey and San Benito County for information on how you can be a local hero.  While there, look for our sponsorship of the Hero Award’s Breakfast honoring local people who have performed extraordinary acts of kindness for others.  Our sponsorship of MCAT and Swim America was donated by Coach Dia and Mike Rianda. Coach Dia presented Wade Michael Armstrong with an award for sefllessly risking his own life to save his niece thru a liver transplant.  Read the story at the link below.

You can be a hero by donating to the Red Cross chapter.  They receive no State. Federal Funding nordo they receive National Red Cross funding.  They are the first to help others in a time of need.  Fire, floods,or other emergent situations, the local Red Cross is ready to act and serve.  Our local chapter serves every day and is dependent upon contributions, small and large to help others.  Financially you can be a hero for others.  Check the link for information on how to help others, in their hour of need.
