FGC Swimposium, FGC Award Winners, House of Delegates
The FGC 2023 Swimposium and House of Delegates meeting will be on Saturday, October 21st.
Both are taking place at the SOFLO Pool, 17191 Sheridan Street, Pembroke Pines, 33301. ALL swimmers are invited to attend.
The speaker for the event is Bobby Finke, and he will talk from 9-11am. The kids will NOT be getting in the water.

The Awards Ceremony for performances between 9/1/22-8/31/23 will be at 11:30am for those athletes who were either
National Top 10 by Age,
FGC Record Breakers,
Girls Top 5 FGC by age group,
Boys Top 5 FGC by age group,
Pool Zone and
Open Water Zone Team members. Please share the Swimposium information with your families.
The House of Delegates meeting will take place in the afternoon on 10/21.
You can find the agenda HERE. The HOD is an annual meeting of the FGC Board, Members of each of the Swim Clubs in the FGC, and athlete-representatives. Every club/team in the FGC is allowed a certain number of voting delegates based on the size of their team. Head coaches have already received Delegate forms for their club and need to return them to Coach Cavanah ASAP.
During this meeting, a number of things will occur including the review of the minutes from the 2022 HOD meeting, Officer’s reports, Committee reports, review of policies and procedures and review of by-laws, and election of Board members.
