Rachel McAlpin Qualifies for Olympic Trials

Congratulations to Rachel McAlpin who will be representing Mississippi Makos Swim Team and Mississippi Swimming at the USA Swimming Olympic Trials. Rachel competed at the Southern Zone South Sectional Championships in Ocala, Florida. She finished first in the 100m breaststroke with a time of 1:10.25 to earn the Olympic Trials cut (1:10.29) and also break the Mississippi Swimming open state record in the process.
