Mississippi Co-Hosts Swimposium with Louisiana Swimming

BILOXI, MS | Over 360 swimmers, parents, officials, and coaches from both the MS and LA LSCs hit the coast this past weekend for USA Swimming's Swimposium 2.0 event. Designed with the goal of providing educational opportunties for our non-athletes and leadership development for our swimmers, the event was a great success achieiving its targeted goals. MSI left with over ten new certified volunteer officials, increased awareness for our parents, leadership skills and fun for our swimmers, and coaching development with USA Swimming new ADM programming. The event was capped off with a fun Blue vs. White sprint swim meet Sunday morning.

Thank you to Olympic Medalists Josh Davis and Erika Connolly, our athlete representatives for their work all weekend, and our many volunteers and LSC leaders for helping make this a great weekend for the entire LSC!
