Sectionals Off to a Great Start in Clovis!

Day One of the 2011 Sectional Championships saw TSM fly to an amazing start in the Men's and Women's 800 Freestyle events.

TSM ended the day in 3rd place with 97 points (9 points out of 1st) and the team leads the medium sized team category.  Liliana Casso, Jordan Wilimovsky and Danny Fujinaka (who were on last year's Sectionals team) have amassed more points in one day than their 2010 team scored in 5 days.

Liliana qualified for USA Swimming's Long Course Junior National Championships in the 800 Free with nearly a 6 second drop to place 2nd (her first top 10 finish at Sectionals).  Jordan missed Senior Nationals by ~1/3 of a second in the 800 Free, knocking off almost 13 seconds from his best time to finish 2nd (his first top 10 finish at Sectionals).  Danny dropped ~4.5 seconds to place 17th.  In his first LCM Sectionals, Eugene Tee dropped almost 6 seconds to win the 800 Free in a come from behind finish.
