Sectionals Update (Day 2)
Day 2 at Sectionals was a lighter day for TSM, with several swimmers having a day off between events.
The girls in the 100 Free shone brightest, with all 3 ladies (Payton Perrotta, Hannah Kogan and Angella Chen) swimming lifetime bests in the sprint. For Angella, it was her second personal best time of the morning, as she had dropped time in the 200 Breast, just minutes before.
Finalists included Mun Hon Lee, Sam Ruddy, Eugene Tee, and Andy Lau, with Eugene swimming a best time and taking 2nd place in the 200 Back.
TSM still leads in the medium size team points race, ahead by just 10 points. In the overall combined score, TSM is fighting to stay in 9th but well ahead of our much larger local rival, Rose Bowl Aquatics.
On Day 3, we will see TSM swimmers in the 200 Free, 400IM, and the 4x200 Free relay.
