Jordan Wilimovsky - Lifetime Best at Olympic Trials

Jordan Wilmovsky - Lifetime Best at  Olympic Trials !

TSM's own Jordan Wilimovsky rocked the Olympic Trials today.  He swam the  fastest 1500 m free of his life (he was in the same heat as three-time  Olmpic Medalist Peter Vanderkaay) and finished in 15.33.29.

Jordan was one of only 20 percent of the swimmers at trials that swam a  lifetime best.  He came in 17th overall. His splits were impressive, as well  (200 free in 2:00, 400 free in 4:04, and 800 free in 8:14, all lifetime best  times).

In an event traditionally dominated by Mission Viejo, today's swim makes  Jordan the fastest 18 and under swimmer from Southern California and the 3rd fastest  SOCAL swimmer overall.

USA Senior National team members Chad La Tourette of Mission Viejo and  Michael Klueh of FAST were the only SOCAL swimmers faster.  Already selected  for the National Junior Team in the Open Water, Jordan missed selection to  the Junior Pan Pac USA Team by six one hundreths of a second (0.06).  Before  heading home early Tuesday, Jordan will time trial the 400m free on Monday.
