TSM produces a new Junior National Champion and meet record holder on 1st Day

Jordan Wilimovsky held off 3 Mission Viejo National Junior Team members to earn a first place finish in the 1500 freestyle at 2012 Junior Nationals. Wilimovsky dropped 10.28 seconds beating the field by 5 seconds on route to become this years 2012 Junior National Champion in the 1500 freestyle. During this amazing race Wilimovsky broke the meet record  by over 2 seconds.The previous record set in 2009 came during the highly criticized “tech suit era.”

The 1500 freestyle podium also held training mate Scott Simmer. Simmer had an impressive 1500 freestyle dropping 9.27 seconds having him earn 7^thplace at Junior Nationals. This magnificent time drop gave Simmer his first Olympic Trials cut. Well done Scott!!

Fellow teammate Andy Lau also had an impressive 1500 freestyle. Andy dropped over 2 seconds in this event.
