Santa Monica Swim Center Converting to Photo-ID Swim Passes

 
The Santa Monica Swim Center is now in the process of converting to swim passes for all permit groups, including Team Santa Monica.  In the past, the Swim Center required TSM swimmers and other permit group swimmers to sign-in each time they attended practice.

As part of this process, TSM parents will need to provide proof of residency in the form of a drivers license or utility bill to the front-desk for their swimmer.  The Swim Center will take a photograph of each TSM swimmer, which will appear on a swim pass that swimmers will "swipe" before each practice.  

Since this new attendance tracking system will also be used, in part, to determine whether TSM qualifies for reduced leasing rates for the Swim Center based on the proportion of Santa Monica residents (50 + % Santa Monica residents qualifies TSM for a significantly lower rate!), TSM famliies who recently moved into Santa Monica are strongly encouraged to provide updated proof of residency to help us reach this 50% threshold!
