In response to inquiries and concerns about drop-off and pick-up points at SAMO High, I have put together a map highlighting the best places to park and drop-off/pick up swimmers for practices at the High School.

There is an access gate on Pico about 100 feet from the rear entrance of the pool. This point of enrty has been used without issue during morning practices and the Lifeguards have been opening the gate for us to accomodate for the "No Parking on Campus" directive that has been handed down.

Beyond the gate on Pico is a small staff parking area and a walkway directly to the pool. The parking area is not to be used for drop-off/pick-up. It is a staff only parking lot. This is the best place for swimmers to gain access to campus and the pool. I have marked the entrance on the map with a gold star. When parking in the surrounding area please check all signs to avoid getting ticketed or towed. Swimmer pick-up should be coordinated so we dont have vehicles waiting for swimmers on Pico and/or blocking school staff access to the parking lot.
