TSM Introduces New Hi-Tech SwimCam Training System

TSM is excited to announce the arrival and introduction of state-of-the-art training equipment this month. As part of a matching grant, offered by USA Swimming to accelerate the performance of National Level swimmers, TSM recently purchased SwimPro underwater performance swimming cameras and a flat screen television, encased in a waterproof shield.

This week, Coach Dave Kelsheimer and the National Group introduced the cameras as part of an enhanced on-deck technical training program, whereby multiple cameras are placed above and below the water for swimmers to view on a 4-split screen multiple angles. The system can be placed on a delay system so, as swimmers finish to the wall, they are able to watch the last 15-seconds of their stroke, then take off again… the system, capable of repeating for multiple swimmers, can service many swimmers in a short amount of time, making it extremely efficient. In addition, the camera can be set to delay to anything allowing viewing the previous turns first, middle, or last lap. It is also capable of simultaneously capturing above and below the water multiple angles and walk along side view angles. The system also wirelessly sends live feeds to the coach's iPad and Android apps.

As Coach Dave has mentioned, we're very excited to continue providing the very best coaching tools available and are thankful to USA Swimming for their continued support of our club.
